SF 03:58
When I've been one place long enough, I need layovers and change New scenery for dreams, new symbols out of place I'm going to San Francisco for her I'm crossing the ocean for me and mine When I've been one place long enough, I need layovers and change New scenery for dreams, new symbols to see this through Alone and lost in thoughts of you The wood all gone with the sunrise right on cue I crossed the ocean for me and mine cause we all change when it's our time for what we have, I can't find the words So I'm going to San Francisco for her

all we know is this can't be as you're floating, you don't know that I'm asleep and together we might find our way he is signaling and planning our escape I will take you through the dreams that we didn't quite know were dreams as you soundly slept in our life preserve I can't say I know what this shit means what is looking down and watching everything but I'll guide you through Virgil to your Dante through the darkness, to our sea beneath the stars

Nightswim 06:15
Stars bringing all goodbyes to a close You were described when you were out of the sight We were the young, the old, the in-between the actors and the audience alike I sped off in the night, not looking back, but thinking of then and going ahead In a fog with an instrument you used to play a fog that came once you went away and there it stayed I was the fog below the breath, surrounding the cars from under all the water, I counted the stars so cold and so far away from here We were the night, the smoke, the lights, we were the way we went and travelers alike I was the fog below the breath, surrounding the cars from underwater, I counted the stars

Sound Stone 05:33
I. From the meteorite, a messenger gave me purpose with his dying breath The psychic prayed, calling us to her all the friends we've never met The psychic prayed from another age saved us from our death The scientist dreaming in the snow awoke and flew across Summers and Winters till he landed in our grave as a future king transcended when his limbs were ripped away He came to us on a Summers day before we crossed the sea to stop the madness by capturing a hidden melody... II. Starting off here, in search of a step of a giant that vanished from a place I, too, have left Visions of my past in Lilliputan Steps in a Happy, Happy Village where my nightmare made a mess Heard my mother's voice in Saturn Valley hidden far where someone wiser told me that the journey's all we are (I'm where your enemies won't run) In the desert caves, you vanish to the winters where you're from Your ship's crashed in our grave and we prayed and held our breath Chanting, "Come to the South! Oh, friend we've never met..." In Winters' caves, UFOs around the bend making way into a Circle where the Rainfall never ends A live Magnetic Hill dead history will hide It's not the tallest building where the city's heart resides Before the lonely Cloud, the Thunder, the Storm We meet a future king on a seaside calm and warm Found an entrance in the exit of the Lumine Hall Where my mind is so electric all my thoughts read across the wall (Silent village singing in the caves...) In Fire Spring, a melody, complete and born in me Now I must face my nightmares on a dark and dreamy sea...

Stratosphere 06:14
If I surrender, you wouldn't leave? Leave me to the rip tide haunting, hauling all that meaning over me? If I surrender, for a change, Will I see this hidden mosaic Haunting, holding all that meaning under me? The haunting riptide, the endless night: Vast and all apart and all along Dreaming in the ocean on my back I'm the flea that flew beneath the acrobat In the upside down, the stratosphere below Vast and altogether, all alone What I am running toward and running from: The vastness in the shadows we become The stratosphere awaits All we are in flight To race the changing day and Catch the endless night

Leagues Away 04:57
Leagues away on shore in the fog The bridge to the city and the hills I can't afford a place but I could take a day or two to watch the lights and make a few long stops Cause I don't make that stupid money Or hang the moon for anyone I just run the race Make my place under the sun Face the music when it comes Try to sleep when it's all done Early as the cold was passing on Above the growing crowds, Just as the sun came out and I greeted the dawn In the ocean breeze, my mind slowing down but wandered on I sadly realized I don't carve no marble stone, set any angels free but I've been lost so many times I know what roads lead me home I just carve on in the dark From what I've seen, I'm not alone all the time Before the moon had faded, my heart forgot my jaded mind And I felt so alive in a city I had never known And later as the high ended, and I felt so alone, I let the wind bring me songs about your burning fire burning on the light you are, it leads me home
